Some weddings are elegant and romantic.
Some are emotional and heartfelt.
And some are just completely, wonderfully, unapologetically fun.
Tyler and Alex’s wedding at Wedgewood Weddings at Stallion Mountain in Las Vegas was absolutely that kind of day.
From the very beginning, these two brought so much personality into every part of their wedding. There was laughter, silliness, big reactions, ridiculous faces, and the kind of energy that made the entire day feel relaxed and genuinely fun.
Alex started the day getting ready with his wedding party, while Tyler had her own crew surrounding her as everything came together. Neither of them seemed interested in taking themselves too seriously, which made photographing them such a blast. Every time we turned around, someone was laughing.
And then there were the cats.
All four of them.
Even though Tyler and Alex’s four cats couldn’t exactly attend the wedding themselves, they were still very much part of the celebration. Their personalities showed up throughout the day, from the signature drinks to their appearances on the wedding cake.
But the best cat moment came later.
During the reception, Tyler and Alex had a special cat song play and hit the dance floor holding giant cat heads of their four cats.
Yes. Giant cat heads.
It was hilarious, completely unexpected, and somehow also the most perfect representation of them as a couple.
Everyone was laughing, Tyler and Alex were fully committed to the moment, and it became one of those wedding memories that nobody in the room was going to forget.
That really summed up the entire day.
Their wedding at Wedgewood Weddings at Stallion Mountain was beautiful, but it never felt overly formal or staged. Between the golf course setting, the open views, the laughter-filled portraits, and a reception that clearly reflected who they are, the whole day felt personal.
And that is always our favorite thing to photograph.
Tyler and Alex didn’t just plan a pretty wedding.
They planned a wedding that felt like them.
Fun. Silly. A little ridiculous. Completely personal.
And apparently very, very cat obsessed.
Honestly, we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
