Azelea and Johnny were an absolute vibe from start to finish. Their wedding day was full of personality, laughter, gorgeous portraits, and that kind of easy chemistry that makes photographing a couple so much fun.

The day started separately, with Johnny getting ready at his parents’ home while Azelea got ready at Green Valley Ranch. Before heading to the ceremony, we wandered the grounds with Azelea for bridal portraits, and she absolutely owned every second of it. The architecture, greenery, her gown, the veil—it all came together beautifully and gave us such a fun mix of elegant and editorial images.

A St. Francis of Assisi Wedding Ceremony

Azelea and Johnny were married at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in Henderson, Nevada. Their ceremony was traditional and meaningful, but the second these two were officially married, their personalities came right back out.

They laughed, played around, and made portraits feel effortless—which is always our favorite kind of couple to photograph.

DragonRidge Country Club Wedding Reception

After the ceremony, everyone headed to DragonRidge Country Club for the reception, where the energy really picked up.

Azelea and Johnny brought so much fun into the evening. Between the entrances, dancing, candid moments, and the two of them just genuinely enjoying each other, there was never a shortage of something happening in front of the camera.

Cicely of Graceful Gatherings kept the day moving, while DJ Mo Blvd brought the energy to the dance floor and helped turn the reception into a full-on celebration.

From bridal portraits at Green Valley Ranch to their St. Francis of Assisi ceremony and DragonRidge Country Club reception, Azelea and Johnny’s wedding was stylish, lively, and completely them.

These two were pure love, pure fun, and such a joy to photograph.
